To use this applet run (must have git installed):

cd ~/.local/share/cinnamon/applets/
git clone https://github.com/collinss/cinnamon-places-center.git placesCenter@scollins

or download and extract contents to ~/.local/share/cinnamon/applets/placesCenter@scollins/
