History

My name is Serban Ghita and I'm a web developer and a former professional chess player. I love chess and I like to play on Chess.com I wanted to create my own chess board so I can discuss chess positions on my blog. This was also an excuse to attemp and create a chess board that works on both classic and mobile devices.

jQuery Chess files have MIT License. The pieces located in /images/ are the property of Chess.com

Disappearing chess pieces when start drag and then put it back

If I start dragging a piece and later I changed my mind and drop it back in its original position, then that piece is not showing, it disappears.

I really found your code useful and I would like to use it for my research. But I am hesitating because you havn't declared a license for this project yet (so it is proprietary). Will you publish this project under a free software license?
