Change the Active Directory password for a username using Docker.

Requirements

• Docker

Usage

The container can be run using the following command:

docker run --interactive --rm sgerrand/smbpasswd USERNAME DOMAIN

This will cause the password for USERNAME to be changed in the DOMAIN Active Directory domain.

Required values

• Docker flags: -i or --interactive is required, otherwise your password can't be entered securely.
• Input parameters: Both the USERNAME and DOMAIN values are required.

Add support for piping password

Thank you for creating this.

smbpasswd with the -s flag could take in the passwords from the stdin. This would be really useful for updating passwords with a script.

Not really an issue, more of a comment

I just wanted to say thank you! I modified your code to technically comply with periodic mandatory password change policies and then reset the password back to the original. You can check it out here: subvert-periodic-password-change

I didn't fork your repo, because the purpose of yours is different, and I didn't want to to confuse people, but I did give you credit in the readme.
