Else if conditon in calcShortestPath always fails

As "map.getDistanceBetween(current, neighbor)" gives a distance which is always
positive,
"neighborDistanceFromStart" is always greater than
"current.getDistanceFromStart()"..

Thus
"else if(neighborDistanceFromStart < current.getDistanceFromStart())
{neighborIsBetter = true;}"
is never satisfied.

Possible solution:
Change Else if condition to
"else if(neighborDistanceFromStart < neighbor.getDistanceFromStart())
{neighborIsBetter = true;}"

Calling calcShortestPath() twice leads to infinite loop

What steps will reproduce the problem?

aStarMap = new AreaMap(mapWidth, mapHeight, obstacleMap);
aStarHeuristic = new ClosestHeuristic(this);
aStarSearch = new AStar(aStarMap, aStarHeuristic);
...
aStarSearch.calcShortestPath(...)
aStarSearch.calcShortestPath(...)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

At the second call to aStarSearch.calcShortestPath(...) the method
AStar.reconstructPath() hangs in an infinite loop.

Please provide any additional information below.

I could easily solve this problem by adding the following as first line to
AStar.reconstructPath():

map.clear();

Bug in AreaMap#registerEdges()

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create a new AreaMap with x=30, y=30
2. Create obstacles[][] array with the same dimensions
3. look for shortest path between 0,1 and 29,29

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It should return path object
It returns null only.

Please provide any additional information below.
This is due to a bug in AreaMap#registerEdges()

Please fix it !!
