curl query in update.sh fails

Running the update.sh script clobbers external/cdnjs.json because the request to api.cdnjs.com times out. I got around this by installing the cdnjs api server and running it locallay like so:

git clone https://github.com/cdnjs/new-website
cd new-website
node apiServer.js

and then running the curl statement:

curl -o external/cdnjs.json "localhost:5050/libraries?fields=name,assets,filename"

the resulting cdnjs.json file is 93mb, so I'm not surprised that querying api.cdnjs.com results in an 'Application Error` message.

Update cdnjs.json to latest available on cdnjs

cdnjs-cdn-data would be super handy but is very out of date.

Have you automated the process of building/updating the cdnjs.json?

update 'semver' to latest version

please update semver in your package.json as it is considered unsafe.

Update the cdnjs data

The cdnjs data has not been updated for over a year. Please update to a more recent data source.
