server-side-validation's Issues

make the task a bit clearer

maybe put into the README some of the stuff you plan to say as an intro-

e.g.

  • the joi validation schema has been created for the login form
  • run npm start and press submit on the login form
  • check the browser console to see the errors returned in the response from the server

task:

  • create the validation schema object for the sign-up form

how to check if it's correct:

  • ?

Error only tells you about the first validation fail

Might be useful to now about all of the failures at once, you can pass in an options in the validate function to mean that it checks them all (https://stackoverflow.com/questions/25953973/joi-validation-return-only-one-error-message)

const validateStatus = Joi.validate(objectValidate, validateCheck);

could be

  const validateStatus = Joi.validate(objectValidate, validateCheck, { abortEarly: false });

and then we will get an array of all of the validation errors (may have to do a map to send something useful back)
