To clarify, I am adding this to list of features that I want to add. I don't have a time frame for it or any of the features since we both have day jobs and can't dedicate all of our free time to working on this project.

So keep checking back.

@benborges There is a setting that you can set in the config.json file for the default privacy. Set it to true and any new videos fireshare scans in will be set to public.

The config.json file is located in the directory you mapped as the fireshare data directory.

If you want it to update all your videos to public, I would delete the sqlite.db file first. That way it will scan everything in as public. Though you will lose any video titles you already edited.

Or toggle select and tick which ones you want to mass add to public feed would be nice too.

Toggle selection wouldn't really provide any benefit over the current system which is based off a simple toggle button on each card/list.

I'm not sure if a blanket "add all" button is a good idea but we have considered adding a configuration option to allow you to choose the default privacy setting for newly added videos.

@kjames2001 Right now the "folders" are just sorting your videos based on the top level folders the files are within. Right now privacy is specific to the file and not the folders. I'll have to think on whether there is a good way to handle toggling privacy based on the folders with how its currently implemented but I imagine this will be a bit more involved.

There is not currently a way to add any sort of customization to the web application. Sorry.

is each subfolder considered a list? then i dont see a toggle for it. otherwise what @geekedtv suggested would also be a good idea.

on a side note, is there anyway to remove the bottom bar? or customize it?

Would be neat for my usecase to be able to define on the .env file if the videos are public or not, because when you handle hundreds or thousands of videos, going manually one by one to enable public view is quite some friction, thanks for working on this feature no matter how it goes, it's going to be a great feature !
