Library Management System

This is a Library Management System built with Node.js and TypeScript. It provides functionalities for managing books, members, and transactions in a library.

Getting Started

Prerequisites

• Node.js
• npm (Node Package Manager)

Installation

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone [email protected]:akshay-bhat-cc/Library-Management-System.git

2. Navigate to the project directory:

   cd Library-Management-System

3. Install the dependencies:

   npm install

Running the Application

To start the application, run the following command:

npm run start

Usage

Upon starting the application, you will be presented with the main menu:

Library-Management

Library-Management
        1.      Book Management
        2.      Member Management
        3.      Transaction
        4.      exit
Choice-

Book Management

Select 1 for Book Management. The Book Management menu includes the following options:

Book-Management
        1.      Add Book
        2.      Edit Book
        3.      Search Book
        4.      List Books
        5.      Delete Book
        6.      <Previous Menu>
        Choice-

Select 2 for Member Management. The Member Management menu includes the following options:

Member-Management
        1.      Add Member
        2.      Edit Member
        3.      Search Member
        4.      List Members
        6.      Delete Member
        7.      <Previous Menu>
        Choice-

Transaction Management

Select 3 for Transaction Management. This menu includes options for managing transactions such as issuing and returning books.

Transaction-Management
        1.      Issue Book
        2.      Return Book
        3.      Search Transaction
        4.      List Transaction
        5.      <Previous Transaction>

Choice -

Exit

Select 4 or CTRL+C to exit the application.
