bashUI is an alternative shell for UNIX-based systems. The shell implements the following:
- Uses child process creation which allows the use to enter and excecute commands.
- Stores and retreives previous commands using history
- Keyboard shortcuts like the UP and DOWN arrow keys, can navigate through previous commands in the history
- Custom directory manipulation commands such as: create, cd, rename/move, copy and delete.
- Clone the directory using: git clone
- Navigate to the source directory: cd bashUI/project1
- Compile with: make
- Run with ./main
