Can't get the widget

OnePlus 12 & Oxygen OS 14.

The app works fine but I can't find how to add a widget.
Ideally I'd like to be able to automate the switch on with Google Assistant 🙏.

Switching off does not work with MegaBoom 3 and firmware 1.6.45

Switching on my MegaBook 3 works properly with the app or the widget, but switching off the speaker does not work. The following messages appear after a couple of seconds each:

"Connecting to Megaboom 3"
"Retrying connection with Megaboom 3"
"Connection failed. Is Megaboom 3 in range?"

Switching off works with the official UE app (v. 7.6.0.277) though.

versionCode not increased?

Looks like you forgot to increase versionCode with the last release (it has it on 10, as did the previous release). This means, no update notifications were sent to those having your app installed. Certainly an oversight, but I thought to let you know just in case. Thanks for taking care!

v1.4 fails to switch

Hi,

Since the update, app always returns timeout when trying to switch (ON or OFF).

Reinstalling v1.3 instantly solved the issue.

Feature Request: Toggle the Remote Activation Feature

Hi @Shingyx, thx for creating this separate App.
Could you integrate the Function for turning off the Remote Activation Function? UE decided to remove the Function from the official App, so it would be a great possibility for bringing it back here.

I understand, that some people are appreciating the Feature, but for me, the Speakers are emptying to much energy in Standby, that's why i want to have the functionality back as a User.
Is that feasible?

App switches the power even if speaker not connected

When I want to turn on the device but don't realize that it's already on, just not connected, app turns the device off anyways. Can you make it so it connects to the speaker instead of switching it off when the speaker is on but not connected. I tried to contribute but I don't write java, still tried though. However I got lost in GATT etc. Just couldn't figure out how the function actually switches the power on and off

signing key changed

The APK attached to v1.6 is signed with a key different than the releases before – and there's no information (e.g. with the release notes) what happened. Could you please explain? Changing the signing key means that whoever was already using your app won't be able to update (without uninstalling first, and thus losing all data). They won't even get a notification that a new update is available. Further, a changes key could mean a hostile take-over of your repo, with someone else having attached a manipulated APK.

Feature request: add intents to receive commands from automation apps

Please add and share the intents we could use to :

• switch on and off
• select the speaker

We need this to control speakers with Tasker.

Edit: I found it. With Tasker, add a Shortcut action and select Boom.

APK available?

First thanks for making your app libre & open-source! Would you mind making its APK available outside of Google's walled garden (aka PlayStore) as well, for those outside of it without access? You could e.g. attach it to your Releases. Thanks in advance!

Switch Off UE BOOM 2 failed

Speaker firmware is last: 2.4.7
All actions works with official app.

Switch On works.

Once the speaker is connected on my phone, I try to switch Off. It fails returning : Connection failed.
