Automatically collapse the node_modules folder when switching focus to a file outside of it.

Installation

Press cmd+p for macOS and ctrl+p for Windows/Linux to launch VS Code Quick Open, paste the following command, and press enter.

ext install autocollapse-node-modules

Usage

The node_modules folder will collapse automatically when navigating to a file outside of it in javascript/typescript projects, there is no command to run or action to be taken.

Doesn't seem to be working

Hello, first off thank you for the extension, seems like a good solution to an annoying problem..

However, it either is not working on my end, or I'm misunderstanding the extensions purpose.

If I manually unfold my node_modules directory, then open a file in my editor (in this case, a .tsx), I would assume that in the Explorer-pane, node_modules would fold back in and spare me the view of the project's gazillion dependencies.

Maybe I am not getting it?

Running VSCode 1.71.0 on WSL (Ubuntu 18 LTS), extension version 1.0.0 (I assume?)
