AltSoftSerial è una alternativa a SerialSoftware, che consente di includere tutte le librerie nella cartella dello Sketch, in modo da non essere più dipendenti da cpu, versioni, installazioni dell'IDE ed altro, ma crea un codice veramente PORTABLE. L'esempio implementa su Arduino UNO, una semplice scrittura sequenziale su una seconda linea seriale (di tipo software), e manda stringhe ad un display Nextion, per far scorrere immagini preregistrate sulla sua flash memory.

AltSoftSerial is an alternative to SerialSoftware, which allows you to include all the libraries in the Sketch folder, so as not to be dependent on cpu, versions, IDE installations and more, but creates a truly PORTABLE code. The example implements on Arduino UNO, a simple sequential writing on a second serial line (software type), and sends strings to a Nextion display, to run pre-recorded images on its flash memory.
