gboot's Issues

validate vagrant support works on windows and linux host OS

check vagrant support w/ JLink and gflash usage.

gboot build is broken on mac os host

the sdas8051 bricks when running the Makefile. It fails with an abort 6 error seems indicative of a segfault. Ran dtruss on it to determine failure but didn't get any further than that.

Built with homebrew sdcc. Will look at snapshot release. Does not occur on Windows or Linux host.

gboot firmware resets when connected to mac host

the gboot fw goes into an infinite reset loop when connect to a mac os host.

The enumeration is funky. A Set_Address request precedes the device descriptor request so something odd. Compare the enumerations from the three target systems to establish the difference. The bug likely resides in USB stack on gboot as I've had success with USB HID on mac OS targets before using the standard SiLabs USB stack.

add vagrant or docker machine provision env

simplify building and flashing by using a vagrant or docker to provision build system.

add testsuite to validate bootload operation on number of systems

add a testsuite to validate bootload works on as many targets as possible. also obtain physical hardware and distribute comprehensive list of targets supported.
