macadminsdoc's Issues

Folder for Theme Colors?

While your documentation works perfectly for Templates, I fail at using the same technique to deploy PowerPoint Theme Color xml files.

I created
/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Office365/User Content.localized/Themes.localized/Theme Colors
and gave it the same posix privs (root:wheel 755), but the color schemes don't show up in PPT.

When I put the same files in my user dir, under
~/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.Office/User Content.localized/Themes.localized/Theme Colors
they do show up.

Is it documented somewhere how to deploy Theme Colors?

New main section: Security

The primary purpose of opening this issue is to start a discussion on creating a new section called Security.
I propose the new section be organized in the following way:

Security

  • Built-in (SIP, Gatekeeper, XProtect, FileVault)
  • AntiVirus (Comparison between the "legacy AV vendors" - e.g. McAfee, MalwareBytes, ESET, SCEP)
  • NextGen AntiVirus (Cylance, CarbonBlack, Santa)
  • Data Loss Prevention (what exists, are any built first for Mac?)
  • Industry Standards (CIS, NIST?)

I'd appreciate any and all feedback related to this including additional topics that may need to be added. I'll try to build out a basic structure and start to it.
