okay, found the issue:

The extensions was not updated to the latest kernel release, apologies, missed a step during release. Will fix it.

hmmm this can only happen if the installer kernel version constant is old 🤔

A talosctl read /proc/version for this node returns: Linux version 6.1.28-talos (@buildkitsandbox) (gcc (GCC) 12.2.0, GNU ld (GNU Binutils) 2.39) #1 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Thu May 11 19:42:48 UTC 2023. I'm checking the machineconfig file for this worker (the cluster itself is quite old, dating back to talos v0.14.4 iirc, then constantly upgraded up to 1.4.4 this morning) right now :)

I can confirm the drbd and drbd_transport_tcp modules are properly loaded on my test node. Thank you for the quick answer and fix!
