iscsi-tools not working on Talos 1.8.0 (No such file or directory)

it seems you have a .machine.install.extensions section in your machine config, remove that and upgrade again

Unfortunately this is not the case.
I double checked by re-applying the machine config including a restart. But nothing changed.

please provide a talosctl support zip file, also see if you can gather logs when running an upgrade

I don't know how (did nothing but a proper Power-cycle), but the iscsi-tools are now uninstalled. I even checked my bash history.

Then I was able to do the installation method using the firmware image. This one works.
