user-controllable tick count

the original nin video had a tick count of 32 (with only 2 sounds). it would be cool if the user could set the tick count, and the ui intelligently rearranged the blocks.

maybe a slider and/or text box to precisely set bpm

Custom Sample Not Playing

I am trying to add a custom sample to /sounds and calling the .wav in the place of one of the default samples, however it remains silent when dropped in. Is there something I am missing in trying to add to the library locally?

no audio

I'm using Firefox on Debian Jessie, and I don't get any audio from your app.
I think it might be a problem with my system, as I've had issues with audio in limited places before, but mostly it works. I was hoping you might be able to tell me what the requirements are for audio to work with your app, and then perhaps I could solve this problem I have.

Keep the state of the machine in the URL

I'd be cool if the beats I made were encoded somehow in the URL automatically so I could easily share them with my friends. :)
