UI Outlines do not show

UI outlines and some other graphic elements such as the breaking animation, structure block area outlines, entity hitbox outlines, etc.. do not render and cannot be seen.

Suggestion: Godrays options

Could you please add the option to remove Godrays from the moon, or have it off by default. Kinda odd to have my nights lit up like a second sun. Also in general the nights are way too bright, even at the lowest setting

Crash when open inventory

As the tittle says, whenever I open my inventory while using Sildur's Vibrant shaders v1.22 High my game automatically crashes every single time. I've tested this in Singleplayer and multiplayer, always crashes.

I am running MC 1.14.4 with the following mods installed:

Weird screen glitch

I was having fun for a while with the shader pack, everything working, until I notice this happening:

Wishlish

First of all, this is an amazing shader, LOVE IT

Only have a few wishes

  1. Underwater like SEUS E9, the current one in this shader is really boring
  2. The Shader prevent you from seeing guidelines from the mod Litematica (schematic)
  3. Ray tracing (not a must, its just awesome)
  4. Remove wet effect from snow
  5. Option to disable/enable wet effect
  6. Remove the reflections of mobs and trees from snow

Weird black circles on the ground

I'm using the "Sildur's Vibrant shaders v1.262 High" version and I'm getting weird circles on the ground, even in void dimensions. They move with me and act like there's something between them and the sun. More appear as it gets darker. I'm running this on FTB Revelation modpack if that helps with knowing what other mods there are.

I've tried playing around with most of the options in the shader options menu but nothing seems to get rid of them.

BlockLight level is "additive" to shadow SkyLight level

The sky projects shadows, also at night. Problem is the BlockLight level is additive to the shadow. At day you wont notice this because the skylight is just as bright as blocklight. At night however the "skylight" level is, lets say 3, yet the blocklight is still 15. The difference in strength of light isn't calculated in the shadows at night, resulting in a hard "lightlevel 3 shadow", where there is blocklight level 15.

I believe the correct behaviour would be blocklight casting their own shadows, and the moon's shadow fading in these places. Personally I even think the enire shadow cast by the moon should be a bit less defined/"light". And the shadows from the moon should stop casting once a single pixel of sun can be seen.

So I am not sure if these are intended/due to my settings, I can post the settings here if you'd require me to.

[1.15] No breaking block animation

Description of Issue

When using Sildurs Vibrant Shaders and breaking blocks it shows no animation.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Enable Sildurs Vibrant Shaders, tested with 1.27 and 1.262, in Extreme and Low
  2. Breaking blocks

Additional Information

I've tested with other shaders, and it works fine.
Tested with and without a resource pack and it will always happen.

Lightning Color Issue

Lightning has the wrong color in-game
the testing I did with the screenshots included above suggest some issue with the lightning sharing colors with emissive light

I tried to find my own fix and the only relevant information I found came from this post
first commenting that lightning was invisible then finding it was rendered black

How do I change the skybox color?

I like to play with lowered ambient lightning and, while I was able to change it using the built-in tools, the night skybox now looks way too bright. Is it possible to change the shader's skybox color? If so, which variables should I edit?

Bloom glitch

Bloom in 1.27 makes a weird lava texture overlay on the player when looking at lava. Especially visible in the Nether. This sometimes happens to torches too

Graphic bugs with weather 2 mod

Hi Sildur, there are SOMETIMES heavy graphic glitches with the particles or the weather 2 mod. I am using the lastest pre optifine for 1.12.2 and the vibrant shader with volumetric.

The clouds of this mod are always flickering and all other particles are sometimes working in some cases at daytime but at nighttime they also flicker.

At least your shader is one of the rare ones that can even show these particles of that mod. Do you think you could work with that dev together to maybe fix these issues? If you can do that, your shader would be I guess the first working shader with that mod. And I guess download counts and popularity of that mod and your shader would increase too ;p

Suggestion: Shader templates

First up, I'd just like to say that your vibrant shaders are amazing. : )
Using a mac laptop, and the fact that I don't need to completely switch my computer to have graphics worth looking at is really kinda nice...

Anyway here's the suggestion:
A basic version of your vibrant shaders, with easy to understand parameters, comments on what the values do within the code, and other stuff that would help people trying to start out making shaders, or just coding in general! : )

[1.14.4][v1.24 - High] Game crashing with Shaders

Hey, my game is crashing after some time of playing with your shaders, i have 2 other mods installed - Voxel map and JEI. My game is able to run at 70 - 80 fps most of the time so i think it's not fault of my PC. Down below is short error code from MC console, full report is available here

Enhanced Default weird artifacts on tools and blocks

Just turned the shaderpack on and I get weird artifacts showing on the ground and on some items. Diamond tools for example have a weird reflection on them, not sure if this is intended or not. Applies to all metallic like tools from modded or vanilla.

The blocks have this strip-y texture on them, everywhere.

Vibrant Shaders: The moon is too bright

Feature Request:
The moon should automatically adjust brightness of the glow and the reflection of the moon in the water, according to the moon phase. The full moon should be the brightest and the new moon should be the darkest, with very little reflection in the water.

Feature Request:
It would be great to have an option to make the moon glow darker in general. This would adjust all of the phases of the moon to have less of a glow.

Half the screen not showing the clouds.
There is a clear dividing line in the middle.
It is the same when it's not raining.

Vibrant shader fails to render glowing potion effect

Hello, I'd like to report a bug related to Vibrant Shaders v1.27 with MC 1.15.2 / Optifine HD_U_G1_pre18
With shader on, the outline of entity is not rendered even though it has glowing effect.
Moreover, the entire screen tears and glitches if I'm looking at the entity with invisibility & glowing effects both applied to it.
I can confirm that it doesn't happen if I turn off the shader. :-(

Skyline Blur

Just asking if this is intentional and if it would be possible to disable this effect.
I mean the blur effect that seems to be applied to some stuff above the horizon and/or in front of the skybox.

[Request] Light colors per block

Like the title suggests, I think if we could choose the color of lighting per block it would be really helpful and look much better.
By default, the light coming from illuminating blocks or items is orangeish. This works well for some blocks, but for items like Sea Lanterns it doesn't. It would be nice if I could manually choose the light color for sea lantern, and make it like white or light blue. It'd look much better.

[Suggestion] Biome Specific Fog and Watercolor

It would be amazing if one could change the water color in specifc (modded) biomes. Also it would be very coll if along with this gradual watercolor changes were added!

Along with that biome specific colored fog would be awesome too!

[1.14.4] Enhanced Default Flickering Sunrise/Sunset

Have had this flickering issue the past 2 versions of the shaders, basically during sunrise and sunset there is a flickering band radiating from the sun. The issue stays no matter what texture pack. Changing alternate sun angle also makes no difference. Disabling the sun entirely via optifine removes the band, but obviously I'd like to have a sun.

[1.15.2] Sudden issue w/ Extreme-VL - daytime looks like dusk

Minecraft 1.15.2, fabric-loader-0.8.2+build.194-1.15.2, Sildur's Extreme-VL v1.27


I don't recall changing any settings recently, but all of a sudden the Extreme-VL shaders have glitched in such a way that daytime no longer looks bright. The sun is very dull and blurred, I'm not sure if that's a hint to what's happening here.

It seems like there aren't any shadows anymore, as well? But they're definitely turned on - I've tried restarting minecraft, switching the shader off and on again, taking off resource packs, but nothing seems to solve it. Which is fairly frustrating, considering this just randomly happened and I don't know what caused it at all.

Rain reflections appearing even when inside

I love the wet reflections on the ground when it's raining, but i don't like that the effect also shows when inside. It would look better if the floor would be 'dry' whenever you enter a building.

It might be tricky to fix, but love to see it change.

Ambient Occulusion Issue in Extreme VL v.1.25

I've got an issue when i downloaded v.1.25. Lights on blocks around 40 blocks far from me, starts to blinking a little, it's most visible in night. It's annoying most on quartz - my favorite block. I tried to off and on some options and i found that blinking come in when Ambient Occulusion is ON. When I change AO amount it's comes stronger on higher amount but still visible and annoying on 1.0. On versions before 1.25 it's don't happening. Can you tell me what
it can cause, maybe an optifine option - I don't know.

Downloads page redirecting to fishy websites

Hi, I'm super excited to try out your shaders but your downloads page is redirecting me to sketchy websites. After about 20 redirects I landed on a page that had a phony "adobe flash update" popup that was obviously a ploy to install malware. Then after further redirects I closed the page to protect myself. Is there any way I can download without using these suspicious websites? Would you consider something safer like a dropbox maybe? Thanks!

Texture Issue

Love your work, thank you for your time and making me and others enjoy there game much more......One issue id like to mention, having texture issues with Powah Mod for 1.14.4 >> see photo

I have also attached photos without your shader loaded and the lasers seem to work as intented.
