sp500-returns

Run the python file sp500_list.py to download a csv file of sp500 companies from wikipedial.

Run get_sp500_daily.py to download 1 years of data, calculate returns, generate histogram, save csv of download to data.

The sp500_stats.csv is also generated to determine if the daily returns of the stock are normally distributed or not over the past year.

currently data and histograms are saved in the two folders.

The histograms are interactive plotly html files. so download them to your computer, then open the html with a browser to see the interactive histogram.
