FINAL SUBMISSION

  • Presentation
  • Spec
  • Final submission

This is the link to submit all artifacts related to the project submission. Only one designated person should upload all the artifacts. REMEMBER - clearly identify all project team members in the documents and code - NO NAME, NO GRADE. The project files are due before the presentation.

Your project app should show at least all the concepts covered in class.

If your app is based on concepts not covered in class, then it will be my judgment on whether the app meets the minimum feature requirement. Feel free to confer with me before you go down that road too far to understand if you will be meeting the minimum requirements or not.

Care should be taken about the user-interface, user-experience as well as usability.

Upload a detailed specification document which clearly describes

  1. the purpose of the application
  2. the navigation of the application (i.e. how does a user switches from one screen to another)
  3. the controls that have been customized and their corresponding classes and custom behaviors
  4. the data persistence mechanism and any corresponding schema

Remember - it should be clear from the document as to how I can recreate your app if I wanted to and without needing to look at the code.

Upload a project zip file containing the entire project folder just like you submit the assignments for grading.

Upload a document that captures the behavior of a running app from screen to screen, i.e. screenshots of the simulator, similar to the course slides

The grading of the project will be as follows - however, it will also take into account the complexity of the app viz-a-viz the iOS expertise of the team as compared to peers.

  1. 10 points for the detailed project spec
  2. 30 points for the project code
  3. 5 points for the screenshots document
  4. 10 points for the demonstration and Q&A
  5. 5 points for the 'wow' factor in the design and user experience

The due date of the project artifacts is before class on the day of presentation which is the second session of Week 11. Late submissions will be accepted until before the final begins - usual late submission penalties will apply.
