The Post Formats Panel by site-59 is plugin that adds a stylish, practical panel as a widget for your site. It displays iconized links to the archives of all available kinds of post formats on your site with attached counters. Originally created for the oh-gee theme, it can be used on almost any sidebar, giving direct access to all of those special posts. It is touch friendly and can be used in responsive themes. If you use post formats on your site, this widget will enhance their functionality. If not then it's time to start using them.
##Installation This is a normal Wordpress plugin. First download the Post Formats Panel plugin and then upload it via FTP or through the WP administration. Once installed and activated you access it from the widgets page.
- Unzip the archived file of the plugin and upload the entire folder to the '/wp-content/plugins/' folder or use the 'Plugins' administration page in WordPress to install it.
- Activate the plugin in WordPress.
- Go to the widgets screen, and drag the Post Formats Widget to your sidebar.
- Check the result and adjust the number of columns in the widget settings accordingly.
