Nicely spotted Nick. I've been able to recreate this on my side. Busy working on a fix.

The problem was getFormValues was returning a false value for unchecked checkboxes. The text widget was treating these false values as true (it expected the checkbox key to be missing from the data).

This fix gives widgets a data array that's more like a standard html form submit.
