calculator_testout

This is a calculator for testout homework assignment only.

This calculator is written by Typescript with React. Following instructions are modified from default Readme from React app.

Install node.js

In order to run this application, node.js is requried to be install locally. node.js can be downloaded from here.

After installing node.js, go to the project dirctory (/calculator_testout_calculator) and run:

npm install

to install the required dependencies.

Note: there is a privacy issue for powershell in Windows. It is prefered to be run in command prompt (cmd) in Windows, which can be found by search "cmd" in Windows.

Run script

In the project directory (/calculator_testout_calculator), you can run:

npm start

Runs the app in the development mode.
Open http://localhost:3000 to view it in the browser.

The page will reload if you make edits.
You will also see any lint errors in the console.

npm test

Launches the test runner in the interactive watch mode.
See the section about running tests for more information.

npm run build

Builds the app for production to the build folder.
It correctly bundles React in production mode and optimizes the build for the best performance.

The build is minified and the filenames include the hashes.
Your app is ready to be deployed!
