Problem with playing gif image MMS

Hi Sir,

I am unable to play GIF MMS animation images on sideview it is displaying only single image. so please help me.

Does this really work on API 16 as well?

Hi Slvn, I am wondering if this actually work on API 16 as state in Manifest?

MMS JPEGs above a certain size do not display in-app

I've observed a number of high-res photographs not displaying in the AOSP app. In place of the image, there's an ▶️ box. Tapping on that just full-screens the message text, still with no image displayed.

The image can be saved to the gallery and viewed there. Once I realized that, I replaced AOSP with 8sms, which is able to render all of the images in the message stream.

Observed on latest version on stock Nexus 5.

Can't install apk on Android Lollipop 5.0.2

I wanted to install this app (version 1.4) through the Play Store, and I received the error:

Unknown error code during application install: "-505"

I found this discussion that suggests the issue could be with app permissions and we should contact the developers. I hope it can be fixed, it's frustrating to not be able to use a decent SMS app.

Messages do not open in Android 10

I can see the list of messages, but the app FCs when opening an individual message's contents.

I like this app as it supports "locked" messages so would be great if this could be fixed!

CRITICAL BUG

Hello,

I'm using your stock messaging application which is awesome and perfect and pure. Thanks for making it. I'm using my new nexus 5. I felt great satisfaction after finding your app. But I've found a bug. I can't delete sim card messages. When I click the "Manage sim card messages" and try to delete a sim message, the app crashes. I need to delete some messages on the sim card. Pleaseeee help. I really love this app. I can't install any other SMS apps. This is the best out there. Neat and simple. Thank you.

I also tried the stock messaging app from "thinkyeah" which has the same error.

I have reported this issue through email but you removed your email address. I don't know why. Please check your email. I've explained the issue in detail. Waiting for your reply.

Quick actions in new message notification pulldown missing

Quick reply, call back, mark read would be nice addition. Not sure if CyanogenMod sources are required for this functionality.
