This application has been built by Jonas Snellinckx. It started out as a learning journey back in college-university Oct 2016, to start learning React, Redux and Electron. Since the first release in August 2017, the journey was incredibly educational. Over the next few months, Auryo has matured from a learning side-project into an escalated one. In a good sense.

As of release 2.0.0, Auryo also has been open-sourced. See the list of contributors who participated in this project.

When viewing individual tracks in the stream, I tend to rely heavily on the track length to determine whether it's a DJ mix and thus worth listening. The current design omits this information and I'd like to request that I be included somehow.

I've noticed that when I stop music playback and then later connect an audio device (i.e. plug in my headphones, connect to my AirPods), Auryo automatically resumes music playback without any direct interaction.

In one case, I disconnected my headphones, put my laptop to sleep and went home. When I got home, woke my laptop, and connected my AirPods, Auryo automatically resumed playback even though it was hidden to the dock.

I'll try to observe if there are any other contributing factors to this behavior, but I would expect that playback would only resume if I hit the play/pause button explicitly.

Hitting the "next track" button on the last track in a playlist results in unexpected behavior

When you're listening to the last song in a playlist, if you hit the "next track" button, the same track just starts over. Either the button should be disabled, or the next track or playlist in the sequence (if the playlist was played from the Stream) should be played.

Using to many CPU cycles?

When listening to Music, Auryo uses between 15-25% of my CPU (iMac 5K, i7). Is this normal? Would like it to use less ressources when streaming all day in the background.
