Note also that all the MD custom widget names are fully namespaced (e.g.
"MonoDevelop.Projects.Gui.Dialogs.OptionPanels.NamespaceSynchronisationPanelWidg
et"),
so there's no way they'd improperly match against proper widget name matches.

The problem is due to Shiki's use of wildcards on common words.

We've worked around this in MD by hacking "Panel" out of all widget names at
runtime,
so to see this issue you'd have to use a release older than today.

This issue still applies to any other app with a custom widget with "Panel" in
its name.

Hello, thanks for the info and for making the changes in MD.

I'm aware that there are a few issues with applications that match to those
parameters, but those wildcard matches are needed in order to theme dark panels
and
the broadest amount of panel/tray widgets as possible.

This should only affect Shiki, since it uses dark panels in this manner.
Clearlooks/Murrine-colors shouldn't cause any similar problems.

I can't currently remove those matches without breaking theming on other panel
widgets, so for now I can't fix this. Hopefully in the future, theming of panel
elements will be more flexible towards hybrid themes, and this issue will be
resolved.
