Hover over buttons

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. open your browser
2. go to google start page
3. hover your mouse over the search button

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect a small graphical notification when my mouse hovers that kind of
button eg border of the button gets darker

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Latest version, downloaded yesterday. Ubuntu intrepid 64

Please provide any additional information below.

Pink color

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Extract the icon set.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I would like a pink version of the icon set.

What version of the product are you using?
The last available.

Please provide any additional information below.
I already change some svg files but don't know how to create png files
32x32, etc. (and have nice results).

Can you add this color... or put me in the right way to try it.

Labels on storage devices

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Plug a usb pen/external drive
2. Same Icon as fixed internal drive

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Ubuntu default icon theme has some nice extra (graphical) labels for
usb/firewire/whatever external devices.
Optical disks labels would be nice too... The label color could match the
theme color...
...Can you add these as an extra? (just copying the ubuntu ones would be
nice, really)

Nodoka seems to be worth a try

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Check out how Nodoka is doing (
http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Nodoka+Dust+?content=98574 is a
good example)
2. Compare it with murrine
3. Imagine how Shiki would look with Nodoka

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
A Nodoka-based Shiki-theme

Please provide any additional information below.
Fedora is doing a lot of improvements with Nodoka. It might be worth using
instead of Murrine or at least, Shiki could have both Nodoka and Murrine
combined in one theme or there could just be an additional Nodoka option.

Shiki breaks *badly* on all widgets with "PanelWidget" in their name

The shiki theme indiscriminately matches on widget names, badly breaking
usability of apps that use similar names for custom widgets.

"*PanelWidget*", "*PanelApplet*", *notif*", "*Notif*", "*tray" and "*Tray*"
are all likely to conflict with names of custom widget in apps.

I've attached images of this problem in MonoDevelop.

Buggy bars with Shiki Colors?

> What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Run X-Chat with tray icon turned on.

Top bar should be uniformly dark, but there's a white line over the X-Chat
icon in the tray. Over time it also appears on other elements, like
calendar, minimised applications and so on.

Shiki-Colors 2.5.1, Gnome 2.24.3, MurrineSVN revisions 143 and 136, Arch64.

Icon 'multimedia-player-ipod-video-black' not present in theme, causes playlists not to be visible in Hipo

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Download Hipo (if not already installed) via apt-get
2. Connect an ipod, and open Hipo
3. You should get the error "Icon 'multimedia-player-ipod-video-black' not
present in theme", and see in the sidebar that the playlists don't load
4. Download the Tango theme, and the tango-extras
5. With ipod still connected, open Hipo
6. iPod icon should show, along with the playlists (expected behavior, but
only with the Tango icons theme, not with Gnome-Colors)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected for the multimedia-player-ipod-video-black icon to be present so
I wouldn't experience this error (along with any other dependencies).
Instead, of seeing the icon, and the playlists, I received the aforesaid
error and this under details:

at Gtk.IconTheme.LoadIcon (System.String icon_name, Int32 size,
IconLookupFlags flags) [0x00000]
  at Hipo.HipoMainWindow.GetDeviceIcon (IPod.Device device) [0x00000]

  at Gtk.Application+InvokeCB.Invoke () [0x00000]
  at GLib.Timeout+TimeoutProxy.Handler () [0x00000]

I'm using Hipo 0.6.1, Ubuntu Intrepid 64-bit (with all forms of updates
enabled), and GNOME Colors 2.5, along with all of the icons in the Extras

Please provide any additional information below.
I know I might not experience this problem if I used a different
ipod-management client, but I really want to use Hipo :)

I thought it could help you for your UserList version of Arc-Colors.

I think that "remove" icon used in this applet should be the opposite for
"add" icon. IMHO, the opposite for a "plus" symbol (add) is a "minus"
symbol (remove).

Remove icon in GNOME Icon theme is in fact a minus symbol. Note de
difference between "remove" icon and "delete" icon.

Thanks for your cool, awesome icon theme, BTW. Greetings.

shiki-colors lacks an explict copyright notice

I'm in the process of packaging GNOME-Colors and Shiki-Colors for Debian
and Ubuntu. I'm very near ready to submit them. One thing that might hold
up the process is the lack of an explicit copyright notice in shiki-colors.
Your intent is clear but the actual license is not.

Project page says: GNU General Public License v3
GNOME-Look says: GPL
README says: "You will always have permission to modify, release and
distribute this theme as you see fit.. so share it with grandma, include it
in your distro, make it better!"

Please provide a COPYING file like in GNOME-Colors. Having one will make it
much easier to get into Debian. They can be pretty strict about such things.

Thanks for all your work!

Icons are a bit _too_ cartooney

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Compare GNOME-Colors with the nice OpenSUSE 11 Industrial icons

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Icons that are as realistic as the OpenSUSE 11 Industrial

Please provide any additional information below.
Many people find GNOME-Colors to be a bit too cartooney. Yes, it's Tango
compliant but it's more cartooney than the Tango Icon theme itself and the
nice OpenSUSE 11 Industrial Icons. I'm not sure but maybe, having a less
cartooney feel makes the feel more professional.

Not override icons in /usr/share/pixmaps ?

Hi, thanks for a great theme. I'm wondering if it's possible to not
override the icons in /usr/share/pixmaps programmatically, because I would
like to keep the vanilla icons for some applications like firefox,
thunderbird without the need to delete them permanently from the theme.

There is a need for a manilla-colored theme

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. See brown themes like Shiki-Dust and other Dust-inspired themes

Have an icon theme that is fit for them

Please provide any additional information below.

believe that there is also a need for a manilla-colored theme or whatever
you call it that will fit for Shiki-Dust and other Dust-inspired themes.

Arc-Colors GDM-Walls 0.5 GDM Greeter Tooltip Annoyance

The GDM Greeter tooltip that popups up alerting users to enter a password
and hit F10 is unfortunately nowhere near as pretty as your beautiful login
theme. Is it possible to remove this tooltip or move the mouse default
location (if it is the hover that causes it) so it doesn't come up first thing?

I've used other themes (including the default Dell Ubuntu theme) that does
not seem to do this.

Thank you!

No icon for samba

Installation automation (installer)

Because the script for installing this beautiful theme in Ubuntu is gone,
am official requesting a new script or deb package.

I installed with the script a couple of weeks ago Shiki-Colors and all
stuff around it. Yesterday I was about to install it onto another machine
and now the script is gone. For some strange reason, I don't seem to get
the same result doing it manual.

Also I have a friend of mine that has just started to try out Linux. I
would really like to get a easy deb package or something to give him.
