Usage

• cmd option shift u - Remove unused layer and text styles

Installation

Automatic

Search for Unused Style Remover in Sketchrunner, Sketchpacks, or Sketch Toolbox if you have one of those installed.

Once installed, Sketch will automatically notify you when an update is available (version 0.1 and later).

Manual

1. Download and open unused-style-remover-master.zip
2. Navigate to Unused Style Remover.sketchplugin and copy/move to your plugins directory

To find your plugins directory...

1. In the Sketch menu, navigate to Plugins > Manage Plugins...
2. Click the cog in the lower left of the plugins window, and click Reveal Plugins Folder

Removes all layer styles

Plug in works great with text styles but it deletes all layer styles, it doesn't matter if they are in use or not.

Layer style overrides treated as unused styles

Hey @sonburn, thanks for another handy plugin.

I noticed that if I use a layer style only as an override (and not anywhere else in my Sketch file), it is treated as an unused style. Is this intentional? Is there any way to detect styles as overrides and treat them as used? I ask on behalf of an emerging and increasingly complicated design system.

I used the plugin and a bunch of styles that were in use were removed

Removes all the styles in use and not in use

I have used this plug-in for some time and it seemed to have worked just fine. After updating to the latest version of Sketch I have noticed that when using this tool, it actually clears all the styles found in the document, whether they are in use or not. Thankfully I have realised the problem soon enough to undo the action, or I would have lost all the text styles created for the App. Thought I let you know about this. Thank you, GR
