I know that @someara is working on a full rewrite of this cookbook. In the meantime, we'd also welcome an additional maintainer or two for the current cookbook. Are you interested?

Sorry for not chiming in sooner.. been on conference tour then vacation.

Rewrite branch is here.. its almost done, just have to shake some things
out.

Sure, I would love to help out and it would be a big help to me as well since I want to use this cookbook at my organization and as the base for the Hardening-IO PHP hardening cookbook.

No worries @someara, it happens, and having more people working on this will get everyone through when one of the other maintainers gets wrapped up in lifes many other aspects.

Is there anything we can do, like maybe getting a public Gitter room set up to help communitacion? If the rewrite has stalled I would love to know what needs to be done to wrap that up, what the goals and plans were for the refactor.

This cookbook is in a pretty bad state, and I am only trying to help.

Let's get @Rockstar04 a commit bit on this cookbook, and on the supermarket. We can publish the rewrite when it's done, but lets not block on it. /cc @someara

Hey @adamhjk or @someara Is there a good place (mailign list, gitter, forums) I can chat with some of the other maintainers?

I want to really jump in and clean some of the backlog up, but dont want to over step my bounds.
