Use released version of milsymbol

At the moment I'm using my local development version of milsymbol, so others won't be able to build the code. This should first be updated to a checked in version of milsymbol-dev, and then to a released version of milsymbol.

Consider move to vue

Since Material design components has removed the custom select it is not possible to upgrade to newer versions of MDC.

Because of this it might be an idea to consider moving to vue or another framework.

Add method getSIDC

This should return the current SIDC for the given panel.

Draw symbol as Canvas on systems that support it in a good way

Should work as the old symbol generator that all browsers except IE draws a canvas image instead of SVG

Enter SIDC directly to see symbol it represents

I love this tool, but often I have a SIDC "I made earlier" that I want to check / modify.

Would it be possible to make the SIDC display modifiable, e.g. enter "SFGPESE-----" directly to see what it means and change?

Add API

Sometime in the future, it should be possible to use parts of the unit generator via API, so that you can initiate your own symbol selector in an element on your webpage, I think this would be quite useful for many application developers.

Update to use new MDC select

material-components/material-components-web#2399
They have now reverted to standard select element, so as soon as this is out we should update MDC and make needed changes.

Sliders not displayed correctly in chrome on windows

Need to look into this, might also look into removing the autoinit.

How thw convert between the standards

Hello Mans,

In the milsymbol-generator, I see that for a giving Unit, I am able to navigate between the standards.

Do you perform or do you have some document that show how can I convert between the standards?
For example in your default inital unit you have 2525C sidc-> SFGPU-------, and if I am navigate to 2525D I will get the code 10031000000000000000 and for APP6(D) I will get 10031100000000000000.

How is this translation is being performed?

Make it into webcomponents

The panels and different functionality should be broken into webcomponents for easy reuse.

Add displaying of SIDC for the generated symbol

Add cookie to keep track of what panel you left

Remember what standard the user has used before, and initiate that one first.

Make sure the code is minified after compiling

Add uglify or similar to minify the code when it is built, this will however require that we make sure the code is es2015 using babel or similar.
