Generate an RSS feed for Patreon posts

Patreon RSS

This is a quick hack to fetch the recent posts a creator made at Patreon.com.

Public (text) posts are available as full text, restricted posts only show the title.

This uses an unoffical API (the same that actually powers the Patreon website) and there are no guarantees that it won't break at some point.

This is in a very rough state but works good enough for me.

There's a proper composerized project at https://github.com/daemionfox/patreon-feed now, which you probably prefer.

There is no license in this repository, would you mind including one?

You already let daemionfox fork this application, so I think you consider this free code? But for the sake of completeness you should add a license ^^

Daemionfox states MIT as the license in the composer file, so maybe use that? :)

Integrate into rss-bridge

Hi,

https://github.com/RSS-Bridge/rss-bridge is a php based web service offering RSS feeds for over 200 websites that do not offer one yet. But Patreon is missing. Maybe you would consider submitting a pull request to Rss-Bridge and continuing to maintain your code there?

The feed stopped working

My feed was working fine until a few days ago, now this is all I get:

<?xml version="1.0"?><rss version="2.0"><channel><title> Patreon Posts</title><description></description><link></link></channel></rss>

The creator ID is correct. And the XML says "This feed contains no entries."

Feed doesn't update automatically

I'm using this on a WordPress widget but the feed doesn't update automatically. I have to go to the PatreonRSS.php and the .xml files in order for the feed to get updated and show the current item on the widget.

Any idea what could be happening?
