Need to add a Java connection test at some point

I'd like to add a very, very simple connection test as outlined in this section of TFM.

Unfortunately, my Java just isn't up to it. I can get it to work if I know the hostname and port, but ideally I'd like it to not need that and just look stuff up from sqlhosts, as documented in the SQLH_TYPE=FILE section here.

To access the docker that is already in the Travis test, you would need an sqlhosts file that looks like this:

informix        onsoctcp        localhost         9088

Actually, scrap that - it would require a publicly available version of Informix JDBC and there isn't one that's trivially available.
