Spotify auto update blocker didn't work. And yes, I did use the right button, I opened a post like this a while back.

Remove the inscription "Free" on the button in the taskbar

Description of the new feature / enhancement

I know this is a very small thing but I was wondering if it was possible to Rename what the window shows up as, currently it shows up as "Spotify Free" but when I was on a premium plan it showed "Spotify Premium", I would like to know if renaming this window is possible. "Top Artists and Tracks" feature breaking

The "Top artists this month" and "Top tracks this month" lists available in the profile page are breaking off. The issue is observed in the latest stable version, that is, 1.1.86.857. Also, it has been observed that this issue only occurs when the podcasts are turned off during the patch. when not turned off, app is still stable without the issue. screenshots for the same have been attached.

Songs that are "enhancing" the liked songs list can't be played

I've been using Spotify for quite a while now, and I've always wanted the ability to like "Local Files" songs, but I've never been able to. I'm just wondering if that feature could possibly be added?

I ran the usual installation command in Powershell and suddenly the Powershell window closed because it was minimized i didn't know whether the installation was successful or not.

Force Spotify to Update Timeline Every second.

1. When I play a new song on spotify (patched), it loops around a time frame (usually in the beginning) of the song before playing the rest of the song.
2. This issue appeared in the previous build but it still exists and wasn't patched in the latest build released hours ago.

1. When I fresh installed Spotify, I used SpotX command without logging it in. That resulted in me getting interactive lyrics on my account (they are available for only a few accounts ATM).
2. When I re-installed the script (ran Uninstall.bat, opened Spotify (with ads), closed Spotify, installed the script again), the interactive lyrics disappeared and switched to the normal time-synced one, but I got the Invite Collaborators icon next to the Enhance button under my playlist.
3. Is it possible to have both the options simultaneously? Thanks

Everytime I set a playlist sorting to something other than custom order and then restart Spotify client, the setting does not stay saved.

1. Go to a playlist and set "Sort by" from Custom Order to any other order. Example: Date added
2. Close Spotify and turn it on again.
3. Playlist sorting goes back to Custom Order.

Note: Sorting playlist stays saved and doesn't change on normal Spotify client.

If the user wants to remove podcasts on install, search placeholder text should be changed to "Artist, albums or songs", similar to what this Spicetify extension does.

1. Clicking the enhance playlist button correctly adds multiple new songs to your liked songs playlist.
2. However, When attempting to play the song your met with a blank bar, play button being grayed out

I have a Spotify premium account. But I want to use SpotX for some of the QoL features. Can I still use it?
(I see that "Upgrade" shows in the top right when signed in but it allows me to download music. I assume it will work?)

Sponsored and audio ads come through on the latest version of Spotify (1.1.69.612)

But I haven't seen pop-ups and video ads. And the ad placeholder and the "UPGRADE" button are gone.

Getting the following errors when patching a clean install of the latest version:

Didn't find variable $full_screen_1[0] in xpui.js

Everything still seems to be working fine, however the "Upgrade" button isn't being removed.

Friend Activity not working

Friend Activity is no longer working despite friends and I sharing our listening activity. Was this feature disabled?

"Oops, default desktop folder not found, cache clearing installation stopped"

This issue is caused because I've changed the PATH from my desktop to an other drive letter.
You can easily fix this issue using the following RegEdit key: HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders\Desktop instead of %USERPROFILE%\Desktop.

1. the toggle buttons for playlist folders appear to be "open" even when they're not. the web player and the unpatched app show the correct form of it.
2. the now playing icon is white (or grey) in the patched app whereas it is green in the web app.
3. (i suggest that remove the icon redesigning altogether because spotify implemented that for everyone in the newest update)

Add SpotX to the Scoop installer

📝 Description of the idea

Scoop (https://scoop.sh/) is a command line installer for Windows which does things like:

1. Eliminating permission popup windows
2. Hiding GUI wizard-style installers
3. Finding and installing dependencies automatically
   and a lot more.

I request you to add SpotX to the Scoop installer so Scoop users can use it, and to keep it compatible with the Scoop installation of Spotify.

(spicetify-cli is also on Scoop btw)
