The supplied implementations (like FileObjectQueue) should all be used from the same thread to avoid corruption. Now, it would be possible to make an implementation of ObjectQueue that is thread-safe using the various java concurrency apis. It should try to adhere to the same contracts, but this will be a bit tricky.

Yep, like Pat said the classes are not thread safe. If you need concurrent access you'll either have to use a wrapper+synchronization or some kind of queue+processor (think: Handler on Android).
We will not be adding a thread-safe version in the library.
