How to run this project

1. You need to use ruby version >= 2.5.0
2. Install all the dependencies:

   npm ci
   bundle config --local path ./vendor/bundle
   bundle install

3. Run the project with npm start. This will run the jekyll serve script and will open the development URL.

How to build this project

In order to build, you can run:

npm ci
npm run build
npm run serve

This will build the production-like files and serve on http://localhost:8080.

website's Issues

[FEAT] Website: Redirect to Code/Stargazers/Fork menu

In the watch/stars/fork tabs in the website, shown below for clarity:

I'd suggest adding links to the code, list of stargazers, and/or the fork menu popup for easier access

Add gRPC API to homepage

We should add the gRPC API to the list on the stargate.io homepage

Don't show pre-releases as latest release on home page

The Stargate v2 ALPHA releases are showing up as the latest release on the stargate website homepage. Since these are marked as "prerelease" in GitHub they should not be listed as the latest release.

Rename master branch to main

Rename the master branch to main for diversity and inclusion reasons.
