@MarkusSchnappi The more elegant solution is to not display these options when the user is not logged in. This way
- the user is not confused by buttons he cannot use anyway
- does not get redirected all over the place when accidentally clicking one of these buttons
the login page has an option to get to the register page
is a good point though

- the login page has an option to get to the register page and reverse
- buttons needed for personalization features are not shown when the user is not logged in.
This includes: - make menu in navigation menu contextual
- do not show mark/add to schedule button when not logged in
