Hi,

The problem comes from the emulator you use: Gens.

It should pass windows desktop to 16bpp but it looks like it doesn't in your 
case so you may have to switch manually your desktop to 16bpp or you can use 
another emulator (as Kega Fusion) which does not have the same problem :)
