Firstly, nice site! I like how clean it looks, and the style is consistent across every page.

Regarding the blog itself, it sounds like the problem you described can be reduced to people being afraid and weary of change. The change here being rapid technological advancement, of course. Which I think is a pretty accurate assessment and predictor of how people will accept new technologies. I'm not sure what can be done solving it outright. (Your suggestion of baby steps is one solution, but gosh darn it I wanna see driver-less cars filling the street within the next 20 years!) Hopefully, as the pace of technological change increases, so too does the tolerance each successive generation has for change increases.

My only actionable feedback is that you have two typos that need correcting: tpoic/topic and hollywood/Hollywood.
