Schematic Question

Hi Sthetix,

Have you worked with this particular variant of the hwfly modchip. It looks to be different to the ones that are present on the diagrams within this repository. I have attached a picture of it. It seems to have a different PCB layout. Its called the hwfly OLED version, according to seller listings.

I have also purchased a programmer for it (st link v2), would this work with the firmware provided on your site? would I still be able to flash it using the guide you have provided for flashing the firmware.

I would very much appreciate if you could upload a diagram for this chip if you do have it.

Troubleshooting Install OLED

I finished installing my OLED chip and updated to 0.23 firmware. My console flashes purple for like 20 seconds than turns red and then off. How can I resolve this issue!? Thank you!

Oled chip

Hi I just finished installed my oled chip but when I press on it blinks like a greenish yellow 3 times and on the 3rd in it’s longer then it flashes red once then the same process over and over help pls

Resistor Identification [Please Help]

But i have one issue... during the install of the modchip i lost an resistor and now my right joycon isn't working does someone know which resistor i need? i made a picture of it. hopefully someone can help.

SX chips cannot be updated ....

Hi. I need advice. I have SXCore chips that have Spacecraft_nx version 0.1 installed since purchase. I would like to reinstall them at 0.2 or even the new 0.21_hotfix for now, but the installation of the new fw will not start at all via USB. I also bought a GD-link 0B programmer and the situation is the same there. Those chips where there was still fw SX, so they can be reinstalled, the installation will still start. But those who came to me with a rocket do not react at all. Let me remind you that these are originally SX chips and no longer new HWFLY clones. Thanks for your help.

INSTINCT-NX V6S SWD POINTS

Could you make a similar diagram of unbricking/flashing the instinct V6S chips using an ST-link?

I did find the one for the V6, but the chip lay-out is sadly completely different!

hi, been following the guide, and I would appreciate your wisdom

I'm on my 4th oled install and I'm faced with problems.
1st switch : used hwfly lite = success 1 attempt

2nd switch : used hwfly core = boots hekate, stuck on Nintendo logo for ofw, block read errors when making emunand (replaced wires, replaced chip) finally succeeded

3rd switch : used hwfly core = boots hekate, same as 2nd switch, replaced wires, replaced chip (with original SX WITH SC 2.0 for trial) still getting block read errors,
set aside (this had a purple screen when I changed one of the wires, clk, cmd, dat0, but i seems to be fixed now, idk what I did maybe I restored boot 0/boot 1 but it boots emunand NOW, boots ofw when I unplug gnd and clk (won't boot ofw via hekate with known good bootloader config that works on other switches), I set this aside since it somewhat works.

4th switch : used hwfly core = boots hekate, same as #2, replaced wire for cmd since I'm trying to troubleshoot, rerouted RST from back - fan to, bottom - ram side, replaced 3.3v from enameled jumper wire to wire wrap, used the 3.3 beside fan fpc instead of the point beside emmc, changed the gnd line from the cap near charge port to the one beside antenna ports. still getting block read errors on both original sxcore and hwfly core

I have been using a dat0 adapter and I get 587-610 steady. Secured with hot glue since I do have a uv lamp yet to cure my mask

I mostly use enameled jumper wire (same as my first attempt and it was perfect) 0.3

what else do you think I can try?
my soldering is ok, not perfect like Northridge fix but my points are shiny somewhat and stronf

is it the wire?

FYI and PSA on Oled Chip on Lite - not an issue

again, this is not an issue,
if you guys ever install an oled chip on a lite,
don't bother using the original lite 3v and gnd locations (the one cap beside the SDCARD slot)
use the one provided on the diagram(under the GCslot, https://github.com/sthetix/DIAGRAM/blob/main/OLED%20on%20LITE.png

it seems using the OLD 3v line makes weird reset situations, (random reboots)
won't boot cfwemummc, ofwsysnand, cfwsysnand
my guess is that the new OLED chips PULL more power vs than the Lite chip, i could only guess but it's probable. i did a test wherein i was using the OLD 3v line from the SD and instantly pulledout the SDCARD, it would start up just fine instead of triggering a reset.
