Get a set of speakers (from the IT office) to play a sound file in python on the raspberry pi. Watch out, my WinSound tutorial only works on python on Windows.

You need to use either pygame or mplayer on the raspberry pi to play sound.

Get the "UNACCEPTABLE" code working properly

• How to get it working at the right time (preferably during classes)
• Debug project as well

Set up the "UNACCEPTABLE" project up on the lockers.

• Figure out how to prop it up on the lockers
• How to get it all connected and working

Current Plan:

Using a Raspberry Pi 4, with a Stepper Motor Board and a large-Scale Stepper Motor, with attached 3D component to grip onto the beads from the string extension on the blinds. Using code to turn the motors to and from a certain angle, and to move the motor, and then subsequently the string, up and down.

Here's an online tutorial for connecting the HS04 Ultrasonic Sensor to the Micro:Bit

Use this instead of a laser trip wire because it won't need a long wire across the floor and up to the other side of the door to mount an LDR receiver that would be needed to pick up the laser beam. This just measures the distance to whatever is front of it. Then when someone walks in front of it, it'll change and you can code it to register that as someone walking by.
