Ft_transcendence 🎮

Welcome to the ft_transcendence project! This is a collaborative effort to create an engaging and feature-rich web application for online gaming and communication. The project aims to provide a platform where users can interact in real-time, play games, and build a community.

ft_transcendence is a web application designed to offer a seamless and comprehensive experience for users. It incorporates various features such as real-time chat, user profiles, and a collection of online multiplayer games. The project is developed as part of 1337 school curriculum, encouraging collaborative coding and enhancing programming skills.

Getting Started

To get started with ft_transcendence, follow the instructions in the Installation section of the README. Once set up, you can explore the various features and functionalities the platform has to offer.

Installation

You should dispose of docker in your machine, if you dont please refer to this website for installation: docker

Now, you can start by cloning the project repos: git clone [email protected]:dependentmadani/ft_transcendence.git

Then, entering the cloned folder with following command: cd ft_transcendence

Finally, a simple command to run the whole project with: docker-compose up --build

Technologies Used

The project is built using a combination of modern web development technologies, including but not limited to:

Frontend: HTML, CSS, Typescript, React.
Backend: Nestjs, and a PostgreSQL ORM relational database Prisma.
WebSockets: Used for real-time communication using Socket.IO.
