Substance.js

Substance is a JavaScript library for web-based content editing. It provides building blocks for realizing custom text editors and web-based publishing system. It is developed to power our online editing platform Substance.

Development

Install the dev dependencies.

npm install

Run the dev server.

npm start

Navigate to http://localhost:4001/test for the running the browser test suite. The test suite is rebuilt as you make changes to the source files.

To run the test-suite headless.

$ npm test

Bound to existing express app

Hey @oliver----!
If you really don't use express for anything except static serving here, than it would be useful to have an option for passing existing express instance.
Otherwise if you use express in your app (say for collab) you'll need to run two servers. It's not a big problem since you can still serve static within your app, but just a bit cleaner I would say...
