Sulu is a highly extensible open-source PHP content management system based on the Symfony framework. Sulu is developed to deliver robust multi-lingual and multi-portal websites while providing an intuitive and extensible administration interface to manage the full content lifecycle.

This repository contains the core framework of the Sulu content management system. The framework implements the functionality that is built into the Sulu content management system and therefore is a dependency of all Sulu projects.

If you want to start a new Sulu project, you might be interested in the sulu/skeleton template repository. If you are planning to extend your existing Sulu project, visit the Sulu organization on GitHub for a complete list of official Sulu bundles.

✅ Requirements

Sulu requires a PHP version higher or equal to 8.2 and is compatible with every Symfony version starting from 5.4. Have a look at the require section in the composer.json of the sulu/sulu core framework to find an up-to-date list of the requirements of Sulu content management system.

Sites aus Suchindex ausschliessen

Für die Frontend-Suche sind in Sulu Sites markierbar zu machen, die nicht indiziert werden sollen und damit nicht als Suchergebnis erscheinen. Zusammenhang mit Security-Einstellungen herstellen.

How to add a new thumbnail format

The thumbnail seems very simple, but as it, i'm not sure how to make that :

change the base xml, extends it
add a configuration key anywhere
add a service

Is it possible to write a howto explaining that process? (i can give help if needed)

Vorschlag valider Formate

Bei der Dateneingabe bspw. in Datums- oder E-Mail-Felder ist dem Benutzer ein Vorschlag für die richtige Eingabe des Formats anzuzeigen.

Add explanations for navigation contexts

The navigation contexts, which are part of the Webspace XML file, should be explained somewhere in the documentation.

Compressive Images

Nicht nur Smartphones und Tablets haben in Zukunft Retina-Displays und verlangen nach höherauflösenden Bildern.
Lösungsansatz: Bilder werden mindestens in der doppelten Größe als verlangt abgelegt dafür aber relativ stark komprimiert. Das Ergebnis ist eine subjektiv bessere Bildqualität, auch auf nicht-Retina Displays trotz kleinerer Dateigröße!

Can't add a snippet

Following the doc (https://github.com/sulu-io/docs/blob/master/developer-documentation/300-webspaces/snippets.md) I put the XML file for the type of snippets that I need, without worrying to create a corresponding template, the documentation does not say anything (and if I understand correctly the nature of the snippets actually does not need to have a template...) but I get this error:

app.WARNING: a valid template with key "layout_info" and file "/<PATH>/app/Resources/snippets/layout_info.xml" cannot be found

Konzept LDAP-Support

Im Security-Konzept ist der LDAP-Support von Sulu zu berücksichtigen

Entkoppelung von Bild- und Darstellungsgröße.

Responsive Designs erfordern nahezu unendlich viele Varianten eines Bildes.
Lösungsansatz: Bilder werden nach dem Hochladen in einer sehr begrenzten Anzahl von Auflösungen abgelegt und das Frontend holt sich adaptiv das best-passende Asset für die aktuell verlangte Auflösung und skalliert und beschneidet im Browser.

Walkthrough for creating content types

It would be nice eventually to have some articles which walk step-by-step through the process of creating a content type.

This would help end-developers and also highlight problems with the current process.

I guess this would be part of a bigger discussion about documentation in general.
