Adding capabilities to your workspace

Nx supports many plugins which add capabilities for developing different types of applications and different tools.

These capabilities include generating applications, libraries, etc as well as the devtools to test, and build projects as well.

Step By Step Guide:

• Clone the repository
• Install the dependencies using npm install or yarn install in the terminal
• Run the following command in the terminal to start the application:
  • yarn nx serve backend
  • yarn nx serve frontend
• Open the browser and navigate to http://localhost:4200

Local Environment Requirements

The following are required to be able to work with the workshop code on your local machine:

• Node.js
• git
• MongoDB

Recommended Tools

I also recommend the following for purposes of our workshop (but will not be a strict requirement):
