It is built using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js) and provides a seamless and user-friendly experience for both catering companies and individuals seeking catering services.

Setup

Prerequisites

Yarn and Node.js are required to run the application.

Open the terminal and run the following commands:

git clone https://github.com/suvanbalu/caterbid.git
cd caterbid
yarn 
yarn start

If you dont have yarn installed, run the following command:

npm install --global yarn

Fixed home page needed

I guess the homepage will be good if it is fixed in the screen and not scrollable

New error 404 page

Can someone come with a design like this for error 404 page

How it works Page

How it works page outline

Basic idea -

The initial page is for users,
and at the bottom, we can have a next page (caterer guide or something like that) hypertext as in blogs which will open the next page which has how it works detail for the catering company

Points to note -

1. Minimalized design
2. Try to have details within cards (rectangular container)

Good favicon format logo

Want a good logo for the browser tab logo of our site,

Comment on the issues with links to the images (preferably favicon formatted pictures)

Main section background fit

image doesnt cover the whole background when width is more 1200px

User Profile - Minor Changes needed

1. When the button is clicked

the popup post appears but couldn't close it and it needs spacing

2. We don't need a progress bar for the number of events, we can have it as a text and relative to its number we can add a progress bar to other points.

3. These icons need spacing
