Current development focus & status

Development is mainly focused on :

• PS3
• PS5

There are currently no new features planned for other consoles (with exception for PS4) or handhelds (with exception for PS Vita).

v1-12

All builds below v13 have broken links & downloads, v13+ is recommended.
Some builds can still be used while some do not start anymore and require updating the live menu (old PSMT Library).

History of PS(3) Multi Tools

• Started in late 2010 as not open source project called "PS3 Multi Tools" (for PS3 only)
• Added support for PS2 & PSP later around 2011-2013
• Added support for PS Vita around 2013-2015
• Development stopped in late 2016 with still no real support for the PS4
• Started from scratch early 2023 and added first support for PS4 & PS5
• First release of v13 with source code

ps-multi-tools's Issues

Change where files are downloaded to

I'd like to be able to change where the app downloads files to as it my Downloads folder is not where I want to download its file to as my C drive is too small.

Crash when typing chars in PS3 games download

The soft crash withou error messages when typing any char in the PS3 Games Downloader. The soft isn't on a strange path (root of a disk in a folder witch don't contain special chars) and I don't have any stranges configurations for my OS. I've just tested this, I don't know if the problem is also present for others consoles. I'm using the V14 version.

Missing DLLs

pkg-merge.exe does not work as it says there are missing .dll files.

vcruntime140D.dll
msvcp140d.dll
ucrtbased.dll

Other CLI programs in the tools folder also complain about missing DLL files like zlib1.dll.

Upon adding the 3 missing DLL files pkg-merge.exe now gives another runtime error.

Don't know what else to do.

I already have the MS C++ Runtime libraries installed but that doesn't fix the issues.

Support for PS Vita ZIPs?

Does PS Multi Tools support PS Vita games stored in ZIP folders? I store most of my games as ZIPs as that is the format created by NPS, and it saves on having millions of small files on my HDD.

I tried pointing it at a folder full of zipped PS Vita games, but they were not detected.
