python: can't open file 'testAM2315.py': [Errno 2] No such file or directory

Respectfully, the instructions, as is the tutorial, are woefully inadequate: not step by step, with code included. The README is a perfect example. Here's the error when I try to run the following:

$ sudo python testAM2315.py
Response: python: can't open file 'testAM2315.py': [Errno 2] No such file or directory

This is repeatedly the case. It's always a new project with the old projects missing data that only an engineer could figure out. What comes first in installing software? There should be test steps all along the way. Instructions on how to check I2C. All these things. This very simple process of checking this sensor in itself is unclear.

undefined symbol: i2c_smbus_write_byte

Im having difficulties getting the test code to work,
all dependencies installed correctly, Im getting this error

Python3 Version

It would be very helpful to have a Python3 version of this example script.
