s_bruteforce_spc's Introduction

Raw data files not included, they are large...

Process:

  • Generate initial spin files with generate_initial_s_placements.js - it will put outputs in /spin_files/

  • spin_to_fumen.js is designed to read in the html files and grab relevant fumens (non mini TSS).
It should generate a large text file step_a.txt with a relevant spin fumen on each line.

  • parity_filter.js is designed to read step_a.txt and filter for good parity and output to step_b.txt.

  • divider_check.js is designed to read step_b.txt and filter out 0% 6L fields via divider rule, and output to step_b_2.txt. This is a useful filter.

  • missing_pieces.js is designed to read step_b_2.txt and process the missing pieces, outputting to step_c.txt.
This uses the fumens' queue comments, and assumes the setup queue was *p7.
If the spin command was run with a different setup queue, you may want to adjust this function.

  • process_congruents.js reads the fumens from step_c.txt and processes congruents + mirror congruents, and outputs to step_c_2.txt
This uses a dictionary to track for duplicates. If the file is too large, there may be memory issues.

  • pc_chance_filter.js reads from step_c_2.txt and makes sfinder calls and filters for 98%+ fields.
This may take a long time to finish. If you want to do this in batches, you can adjust start position on line 52.

  • Given that the previous step may have been split up into batches, I've included a quick combine_d.js script to combine results into a single file. Edit fileList.

  • recursive_to_7p.js reads from real_d.txt (you may just name it d.txt for simplicity); it generates all 7ps out of the list (which may include 4-7p setups). Outputs to step_e.txt.

  • Apply filters again to these 7ps.

  • parity_filter_2.js filters, using checkerboard parity filter, down the 7p list from step_e.txt into step_f.txt.

  • divider_filter_2.js filters from step_f.txt into step_f_2.txt.

  • process_congruents_2.js reads from step_f_2.txt and processes congruents + mirror congruents into step_f_3.txt.

  • pc_chance_filter_2.js reads from step_f_3.txt and makes sfinder calls and filters for 98%+ fields.
This may take a long time to finish. If you want to do this in batches, you can adjust start position on line 46.

  • Again, I've included a quick combine_g.js script to combine results into a single file. Edit fileList.

  • next steps: run score on final set.

  • score.js reads the fields from real_g.txt and outputs the data with computed scores into step_h.txt

  • sort_score.js sorts step_h.txt by score, outputting the sorted file into step_h_sorted.txt

  • Decide what score cutoff you're comfortable with including.

  • generate_cover.js reads from step_h_sorted.txt and generates for you what you need to generate a properly formatted and named cover.csv for this data to go onto cover visualizer.

  • automate_score_minimals.js peruses the cover.csv file of SPC setups and generates score minimals for each field, as per the names given in row 2.

  • minimal_scoring_set.js peruses the cover.csv file of setups and generates a minimal score priority set and the average score of the set.
