I'm currently Writer and Cohost of the Latent Space AI newsletter/podcast and working on something smol. I previously helped lead or build DevRel/DX at AWS and 3 devtools unicorns (Netlify, Temporal, Airbyte). Because I love GitHub and this is my GH Readme, I guess I should also say that I'm honored to be a GitHub Star ⭐ as it has changed my life and I often share freely about how I use GitHub for all sorts of unusual things.

I previously did a lot of community work for the React, Svelte, DevTools Angel Investing, and general JavaScript community, but now those have become less of a focus as my new founder duties ramped up.

If you are a junior developer looking to level up to senior, I wrote my book for you.

ai-notes's Issues

Re-categorize AUTOMATIC1111 as it's not a fork

So this might be heading into "technicality" territory, but the AUTOMATIC1111 webui + generator is not really a fork in the sense that the others are proper forks. The work seems to have been started by anonymous user at 4chan which the initial work was based on, while then AUTOMATIC1111 and the community took it from there, compared to the other "forks" which are properly based on the CompVis/stable-diffusion repository meaning they started with that codebase and extended it from there.

I don't have any better suggestion on what to call it though, just thought I'd highlight it in case you want to address it somehow.

interesting resource: “State of AI Report”

disclaimer: i'm not affiliated with the authors or any of their works

since 2018 “State of AI Report” has centralised and summarised principal AI progress

all reports are publicly available under CC-4.0 here: https://www.stateof.ai/

in my opinion, this should be add to “Top AI Reads” > “Intermediate Reads”
