UMLayer

This is a small UML diagram editor, inspired by UMLet.

Installation in a virtual environment

Get the source code from GitHub and put it in some directory on your filesystem.

cd <path/to/umlayer>

Install Python 3.9 or higher. Create and activate a virtual environment:

on Linux:

python3 -m venv venv
source venv/bin/activate

on Windows:

python -m venv venv

venv\Scripts\activate.bat
           or
venv\Scripts\activate.ps1

Install UMLayer as a python package:

pip install .

Run UMLayer inside activated virtual environment:

python -m umlayer
